Children of the Clockwork Sun is an innovative mix between a computer RPG and a collectible card game. You'll explore the world in real time, sneak around while dungeon hunting for unique items, meet non-playable characters and others willing to follow you on your quest as in traditional RPGs. The fighting, however, will  be managed like a collectible card game. Your deck will be determined by the characters of your party, their equipment and abilities.

Children of Zodiarcs is a story-driven, tactical RPG set in the fantasy realm of Lumus; a world divided by affluence and poverty. Chroma Blast est jeu de combat qui met l’emphase sur les projectiles, l’esquive des attaques adverses par le mouvement et la défense active.   Les attaques sont divisées en 3 catégories allant de Légère à Forte : Les attaques Légères sont rapides alors que les attaques Fortes sont lentes, les attaques Moyenne permettent un bon compromis entre rapidité et puissance. Les projectiles possèdent un nombre de points de vie relatif à leur catégorie.Vous pouvez orienter vos attaques selon 5 directions différentes et toucher un ennemi le repoussera dans la direction du tir, cela signifie qu’une attaque vers le haut l’enverra voler, vous permettant de jongler avec lui pour infliger des dommages supplémentaires en combo.Chacun des 3 personnages propose un éventail d’attaques uniques à maîtriser.Jade étant la figure de proue du jeu, elle propose un gameplay équilibré, basé sur des projectiles à longue portée, rapides et en ligne droite, faciles à prendre en main et dont les versions boostées restent conventionnelles.Zaydan possède des attaques divisées en 2 parties : la première consiste en l’apparition d’un mur devant lui, pouvant être suivi, en pressant le bouton une seconde fois, par un projectile à courte portée. Les versions boostées de ses projectiles permettent de forcer le déplacement du joueur s’il est touché, même si celui-ci a gardé.Shoma semble à première vue user du même type de projectiles que Jade, à la différence que ceux-ci possèdent des propriétés rebondissantes leur permettant d’augmenter leurs dégâts à chaque rebond! Elle est capable de frapper dans ses propre projectiles afin de les faire changer de direction.
