[BL]INK is a 2D puzzle-platformer adventure game set in a strange world made of India ink. You control the character of a little girl locked in a maze of rooms and constantly monitored by mysterious giant eyes, the “Pupils,â€?connected to the top edge of the screen by optic nerves. Using the ink that fills the body of the girl, the player must show creativity and ingenuity by tracing (with his/her finger, the controller or a mouse) the solution to puzzles of increasing complexity: Sometimes a line of ink turns into a platform on which to jump to pass an obstacle, sometimes it hides the character from the inquisitive gaze of the Pupils. As the puzzles increase in difficulty, the character’s desire for freedom grows beyond the traditional limits of a game: she gradually refuses to obey your prompts, befriends cute creatures of ink inhabiting the world, and eventually emancipates herself entirely from your control. You then realize that you have been one of the terrifying Pupils from the start, yourself under the control of a mysterious Great Eye. And to escape its grip, only the little girl can help you ...[BL]INK offers an original artistic style, inspired by “Sumi-eâ€?paintings, and a unique adventure where the player develops a strong and surprising relationship with the character. It is an invitation to reflect on our core values and train our power of empathy. It is an opportunity to be rewarded through respect and de-escalation, instead of violence and domination. This is a hyper-casual game originally inspired by the popular Snake VS Block game. This is a fast pass game with level based and endless based game modes with very simple controls. The game is available for iOS and Android platforms. The monezation is based on the rewarded videos and few in-app purchases. Although the game is already available for publishing, we are still adding more unique features to get it stand out from the crowd.

We are planning for a release in Q1 of 2019. We have a playable demo.

However, now that we are actually  participating in the development of the game, we at DICO are now feeling a different type of excitement and thrill.It is an honor to be able to work with ArtPlay led by the acclaimed Koji Igarashi and we take this task extremely serious as we understand the immense expectations surrounding this highly anticipated game.The team is currently working hard day and night to provide the best gaming experience for fans all around the world as well as for the younger generation who have not yet experienced the Igarashi world.We are tightly working together with all related parties and giving it 200.6% into this development so that we can create a game that will best represent Mr. Igarashi’s unique vision and tastes.
