A cardboard road-movie  (^_^)   What is the worst thing that can happen to a cardboard box? Answer: to be opened.Who, indeed, would want to have their sto-mach cut open with a boxing knife and see their insides exposed to the world in an un-boxing video? In our game, our cardboard box will do everything to escape this disastrous destiny, which implies to leave the distri-bution circuit where it was born, not to be caught by the zealous employees of the company, but also to escape from all the curious people who would like to know its mysterious contents. In The Unboxing, the player will be a cardboard box, carrying a content he is unaware of. Throughout the gaming experience, the player will witness its journey, passing from hand to hand like a relay, from place to place, until the end of the race discovering what is inside.Players will first be seduced by the physical control of the cardboard. In the manner of a game like I Am bread, they will be attractedby the unconventional aspect of controlling a cardboard and will appreciate the pleasure of manipulating it in a 2D adventure game carried by an original narration, exploring the comic palette.The Unboxing is thought as a playful comedy. As a matter of principle, the game should propose a good articulation between its gameplay and its narrative, in order to avoid, for example, that the control of the cardboard is blocked during long cinematic scenes or dialogues.

The Uncertain is telltale-like episodic adventure about robot society in post-apocalyptic world.
