SpongeBob: Krusty Cook-Off is the latest project from our partners at TiltingPoint. The release of the game matched its publisher’s global rebrand as a mobile publisher.This is one of the largest projects we have taken part in - from new mechanics to the integration of minigames and numerous sets of assets, we created a broad range of work. Another unique factor was the time frame, which required the user experience and interfaces to be done simultaneously. We truly believe that our work speaks for itself in terms of its appeal to players - the game made it into the top 3 launches of the past 12 months and in the top 10 Google Play games.

GAME DESCRIPTION:Spook Bowl is a Strategic-RPG blended with Roguelike elements to create the most tactical and entertaining team sport experience.Picture the game as a Blood Bowl experience with accessibilty and instantness as the pillars of its game design, leaning towards the clarity and tacticalness of modern strategic roguelikes such as Into the Breach.With teams full of monsters, from Vampires to Zombies, Harpies to Skeletons, learn each character playstyle and story, and climb up to the top of the Spook Bowl, a unique tournament where all the monsters are invited to play their best by the mysterious dean of the Moonlight Academy...The game is solo-first, as we're building a fully hand-crafted campaign with roguelike elements to bring new surprises during each run. More than 100 dynamic cutscenes are to unlock, following your game choices in-between matches to unwrap a fully fleshed story with twists and dramas. Dream-Up

PopcornFX v2.14 introduces Skeletal mesh particles using a new Bone Animation Textures (BATs) workflow. This video shows a stadium in UE5 filled with particles rendered as skeletal meshes using a simplified animation state machine. Mesh particles use distanced based LOD, switching from 3D mesh LODs up to 2D impostors. Texture atlases can be used to handle lots of character variation while keeping draw calls count low (culling & instanced draw per character type / body part) PopcornFX simulation framework can be leveraged to create dynamic gameplay interactions with the crowd such as localized animations. This project was created to illustrate the new 2.14 features and PopcornFX's work-for-hire department ability to create such dynamic crowd systems for your projects.
