We had the pleasure of creating the live-action intro for Sony's Little Big Planet 3.

Sony was so pleased with our work on Tearaway that they asked us back on for Little Big Planet 3. Working with their creative team in the UK, we needed to create a mix of Italian folk and renaissance music that felt like a 1960’s recording in order to get that trademark Little Big Planet unique sound.

These hills hide the bitter truth about the city where scrap, ruins, abandoned houses, and human and animal gangs depict the lack of empathy and emotions of a destroyed world. Nowadays Valparaiso hides several stories within its hills. Those stories are reflected in this ongoing artistic work which has provided the opportunity for the creation of more complex works in terms of technique and content. Without a doubt, the local culture has a limitless narrative potential, but it needs to be preserved and fostered. For this reason, every work must be born from a collective e ort and the observation of real and hidden con icts in the city. This is a transmedia narrative project based on the fantastic and science fiction genres that search to sketch the present con icts such as: the abandonment of Valparaiso’s non- patrimonial buildings, forgotten hills, tenacious people and their demanding lifestyles, as well as the forgotten elders who, in their loneliness, find companionship only in their cats. The spatial features aim to arouse curiosity in the player, making each level an interesting opportunity to discover diferent buildings and figure out what things you will encounter beyond the fog. Luna is not just a game where you need to avoid obstacles or escape from enemies; it is a game where you will have to prepare for the “unexpectedâ€?and “unknownâ€?
